Who we are

Veerock Digital is a digital design studio based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at hello@veerockdigital.com.

What data we collect

We only collect what we need. If you email us or submit an enquiry, we receive your name, email address and anything you choose to include in your message.

When you browse the site, our hosting and analytics providers may process limited technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you view.

How we use your data

To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible commission, to deliver and support work you have commissioned, to keep the website secure and functioning, and to understand in aggregate how the site is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Lawful basis

We rely on legitimate interests to respond to enquiries and to operate and secure the website, on contract where we are delivering commissioned work, on consent for any non-essential cookies or analytics, and on legal obligation where we must retain records.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses only the cookies necessary for it to function correctly. If privacy-conscious analytics are used, they measure aggregate traffic patterns rather than identifying individuals. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted providers for website hosting, email and, where relevant, analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under contract, and only for the purposes described here. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

Data retention

Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to 24 months from our last contact unless it becomes part of a client project record. Project records are retained for up to six years to satisfy contractual and tax obligations. Aggregate analytics data is retained in non-identifying form.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections, access controls and minimal data collection.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any material change will be reflected on this page.
