Refund Policy
Veerock Digital · United Kingdom
This policy explains how payments, cancellations and refunds are handled on Veerock Digital projects. It applies alongside the agreement issued for your individual project.
Deposits
Projects normally begin with a deposit, confirmed in writing before any work starts. The deposit reserves your project slot and covers the initial consultation, planning and design work.
Once design or development work has begun, the deposit reflects time already spent and is generally non-refundable to that extent. Where little or no work has been carried out, we will refund the unused portion.
Cancelling a project
You may cancel a project at any time by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect from the date we receive your notice.
On cancellation we will invoice for work completed up to that point and refund any amount you have paid above that figure.
Work already completed
Design concepts, page builds, written content and any other work delivered before cancellation are chargeable. We will provide a summary of what was completed so the position is clear.
Additional work
Requests outside the agreed scope — extra pages, new functionality, further rounds of revisions — are quoted separately and approved by you before we start. Additional work that has been approved and completed is chargeable and non-refundable.
Requesting a refund
Email veerock@veerockdigital.com with your project name and the reason for the request. We aim to respond within five working days and to resolve refund requests within 14 days of agreeing the amount.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Final payments and launch
Final balances are due before a website goes live or files are transferred, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Once a website has been launched and accepted, the project is treated as delivered.
Third-party costs
Domains, hosting, premium plugins, stock imagery, subscriptions and other third-party purchases made on your behalf are non-refundable once bought, because those providers charge us at the point of purchase. We will always confirm such costs with you first.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy removes or limits any rights you have under UK consumer law, including rights that apply to services bought at a distance. If any part of this policy conflicts with those rights, your statutory rights take precedence.
Contractual terms
For specific contractual terms, please refer to the Website Design & Development Agreement provided for your project.
This policy should be reviewed against the services you actually purchase; the project agreement issued for your work is the governing document.
